Fashion Week Fall 2024 Trend Recap: Leather Part Two

Step once more into the realm of sophistication and allure as we continue our exploration of the Fall/Winter 2024 runway shows. In this second installment, we turn our attention back to the timeless appeal of leather.

Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2024 at Paris Fashion Week

Designed by Anthony Vaccarello, the collection unveiled a myriad of sheer and see-through designs, harmonizing with an earthy palette of taupe, olive and brown. Adding a touch of sophistication, pieces were adorned with thin belts crafted from bordeaux patent leather. Embracing both feminine allure and masculine tailoring, models strutted in boxy, hulking leather jackets, epitomizing the collection’s fusion of contrasting elements.

Crafted by the visionary duo Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the collection embedded fashion with fragments of histories, creating a romance with the past. Letterman jackets, meticulously crafted from leather, proudly displayed “P” patches on the chest and “1913” on the arms, symbolizing the founding year of Prada. Additionally, the collection showcased fitted moto jackets, further accentuating the versatility of leather.
