Menswear Spring 2026: Fashion Week Trends Recap Part One

Fur and shearling are making an unexpected yet powerful statement on the Spring 2026 runways, as top designers reimagine these traditionally cold-weather materials for the warmer months. From pixelated mink at Louis Vuitton to Dolce & Gabbana’s relaxed animal-print layers and Balmain’s shearling statements, designers are proving that these luxe textures are made for more than winter.

Louis Vuitton Spring 2026

Presented in Paris, Pharrell Williams’ Spring 2026 collection for Louis Vuitton drew inspiration from his travels through Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur. Among the standout pieces were fur, shearling and animal prints that added bold texture and pattern to the lineup. A particularly striking look featured a zip-up hoodie crafted from hand-stitched pixels of mink—predominantly white, but flecked with vivid hints of orange and green. The result: a fusion of cultural richness and luxury innovation, pushing the boundaries of modern fur fashion.

Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2026

Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2026 “Pyjama Boys” collection embraced a distinctly Italian aesthetic, blurring the lines between urban settings and vacation destinations. The collection featured plush shearling outerwear and linings that added rich texture to jackets. Animal prints brought a bold energy, enhancing the collection’s blend of casual luxury and statement-making style.

Balmain Resort 2026

For Resort 2026, Creative Director Olivier Rousteing offered a refined fusion of soft color and bold structure. The collection spotlighted luxurious textures—shearling and leather—balanced by a palette of muted pastels. A standout moment came in the form of a dramatic, floor-length dark brown shearling coat layered over a sharp black suit, exuding modern elegance. Elsewhere, a crisp white shearling collar brought dimension to a black leather jacket, proving that even the smallest fur details can transform a look. Rousteing continues to redefine resort wear with architectural silhouettes and tactile sophistication.
