Still more to cover from Day 3…..
We love Behnaz Sarafpour, her work, and what she stands for. She’s one of the few quiet, more intellectual designers of today; one who comes-up with delightful creations that mesmerize on many levels. This season she opted for constructed pieces that somewhat allowed the construction to show within the design. This particular touch gave a beautiful vulnerability to her pieces.

If you like prints and colors, Custo Barcelona is your label. Season after season, it concocts new looks and combinations that are as exciting as they are unexpected. This label’s DNA is well established now and it doesn’t surprise us that they are now experimenting with new materials to complete the look. Some of the “sauvage” fur pieces worked so well with the colorful line-up.

Jenni Kayne loves to introduce wardrobe “key pieces”, those separates that can easily make a statement and become one with the wearer. The very 90′s sportswear line-up was upbeat and dressy yet relaxed and sophisticated. The angularity of the cuts, often based at the shoulder, elongated the silhouette beautifully.

The Kelly Wearstler gal is a fun party girl who loves to be girly and rock n’ roll at the same time. She is the girl you love to hang with, and she always looks great in a crowd. The designer delivered a fun and upbeat line-up of colorful separates that will be a big hit at retail. The jackets, and the outerwear in particular, were great statement pieces.
