Last night, the CFDA Fashion Awards recognized the best and the brightest talents in fashion design at a star-studded gala in Lincoln Center, which many refer to as the ‘Oscars of the Fashion World.’ Awards are given for design excellence in womenswear, menswear, and accessories; as well as extraordinary accomplishments in journalism, creative vision and lifetime achievement. Nominations for each award category are submitted by the CFDA Fashion Awards Selection Committee along with top fashion retailers, journalists, and stylists.

Garnering a nomination is not simply a reward hard work; it becomes a platform for global exposure, warranting magazine covers the world over and great department store prominence.
